A Magical Christmas Celebration

Due to the inclement weather expected over the next several days Santa’s Village will be closed on Friday, December 23. This means our Last day of Santafest is Thursday December 22nd.

Tickets can be purchased at the Gate. If you have purchased tickets for Friday, December 23rd our Guest Services Team will contact you to issue a credit that can be used during the 2023 Season.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – in the most magical place in Muskoka! Once again, Santa and his Elves will be hosting a special Christmas Celebration here at Santa’s Village. Join us for an evening of Christmas Wonder – Walk the One Million Light Display, ride the Candy Cane Express Train, visit with Santa and more!

Activities & Attractions

Santafest is a special Celebration Event that is different than our summer operation. During Santafest the following activities are available:

  • Visits with Santa in his Cottage
  • Story Time with Mrs. Claus
  • One Million Light Display throughout the Village
  • Daily Tree Lighting Ceremony
  • Many of your Favourite Rides (The Candy Candy Express Train, Santa’s Carousel, The Ferris Wheel and other rides weather permitting)
  • Horse Drawn Wagon Rides
  • The Christmas Market with Local Vendors
  • Snowbo & Arrows Archery Range
  • Letter Writing to Santa
  • Meet & Greets with Peppermint Penguin & Snowbo

*Please note that rides are subject to change and may close in extremely cold and/or icy/wet weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you have to purchase tickets in advance?

    Tickets are available online and at the gate however we recommend purchasing online in advance as our daily capacity is limited and we expect to sell out most days.

  • Can I use my Season Pass for Santafest?

    Santafest is a special event and not part of the regular season however admission Santafest is included as a bonus with the 2023 Season Pass.

    Please note it is not included with the 2022 Season pass which expires on October 30, 2022.

  • Which rides will be available? Is it the same experience as the summer season?

    Santafest is very different than our summer program. Many of our rides cannot operate in the colder winter weather. Only  select rides will be available during Santafest. Our ride selection will vary each day depending on the weather.

  • Is there food available on site? Can I bring my own food?

    Yes! Our new Yule Lodge restaurant will be open to provide our guests with a warm indoor dining experience.

    Mrs. Claus Bakeshop and Beavertails will also be open during Santafest.

    No outside food is permitted in the park.

  • I bought my ticket online, but need to change my date. Can I reschedule or get a refund?

    All tickets are non-refundable once purchased. If you would like to reschedule your tickets please contact our guest services team by email with a minimum of 24 hours notice.

    Reschedule requests must be sent to [email protected]. 

    Please do not call or leave a voicemail. Reschedule requests with less than 24 hours will not be permitted.
