Santa’s Village Positions

Park Operations

  • Ride Operator

    This is an outdoor position with a lot of customer contact. Ride operators are primarily responsible for greeting customers, safely loading and unloading the ride and maintaining safety & services standards.  Ride assignments change daily and assignments are given based on employee ability and level of customer service. This is an outdoor position and requires a lot of standing.

  • Grounds Keeper

    This person works independently with little supervision and is responsibility for cleaning washrooms, changing garbage cans, cleaning our parking lot and grounds. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work.  This is an outdoor position and requires a lot of walking – you are always moving.

  • Grounds Supervisor

    This person works our groundskeepers cleaning washrooms, changing garbage cans, cleaning our parking lot and grounds. As a Supervisor you are responsible for directing the work of the groundskeepers and ensuring daily tasks are completed. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail and strong communication skills.  This is an outdoor position and requires a lot of walking – you are always moving.

  • Mascot & Mascot Handler

    This is an outdoor position with a lot of customer contact. One person will wear one of our two Mascot costumes and the other will act as their guide throughout the park and communicate with the guests they interact with. Both positions require someone who is outgoing, energetic and loves to entertain. This position requires a lot of walking – you are always moving.

  • Gardener

    This person works independently to maintain the many gardens throughout the village. They are also responsible for weekly grass cutting and maintaining paths and walkways by keeping them clear of weeds and overgrowth. This is an outdoor position and requires a combination of bending, standing and walking – you are always moving.

Food & Beverage

  • Food & Beverage Cooks

    We have several exciting Food & Beverage outlets in the park. Menus vary from cooking pizza and hot dogs to making gourmet Deli sandwiches, baking cafe specialties, or scooping ice cream. If you like cooking or want to learn the food services industry, we have great opportunities for you. You will be learning from our in-house Red Seal Chef!  This is primarily an indoor position and requires a lot of standing, walking and working in hot conditions.

  • Food & Beverage Cashiers

    Cashiers are comfortable with cash registers, handling cash and great with customer service in a fast-paced location. You are responsible for taking orders and serving the guest accurately.  This is position can be both indoor and outdoor and requires a lot of standing.

Games & Merchandise

  • Merchandise Cashier

    This is an indoor position with a lot of customer contact. You are responsible for stocking shelves, organizing the store, talking to all of our guests and using the cash register and POS machine. You must be comfortable working with cash in this area.  This is position can be both indoor and outdoor and requires lifting, walking and standing.

  • Face Painter

    You enjoy art at school and have artistic talents. You have a lot of customer contact in a busy area. Please submit 2 (two) examples with your application.  A skills demonstration will be required during the interview process. This is an outdoor position and requires a lot of standing.

  • Games Attendant

    This position requires an outgoing, perky individual who likes to interact with people all day long. You are self-motivated and perform well when given daily targets.  This is an outdoor position and requires a lot of standing and constant initiation of conversation with guests.

Guest Services & Admissions

  • Guest Services Attendant

    This position is the key person responsible for answering our phones and providing customer service inquiries to our guests on site. This person helps with tickets sales in the Gatehouse and is therefore comfortable with cash handling and POS systems. Guest Services is responsible for park administration and is part of our first aid team.  This is an indoor position and requires some standing.

  • Turnstile Ticket Taker

    Ticket takers are one of the first people our guests meet. You are required to take and validate tickets, stamp hands, issue maps, give directions and tally hourly attendance counts. This is an outdoor position with a lot of customer contact and requires a lot of standing.

  • Gate House Ticket Seller

    Gate House attendants are the first point of customer contact and sell admission tickets to our guests. This position requires great cash handling skills, comfort with POS systems and you enjoy dealing with the public as there is a lot of time spent explaining the different ticket types and packages to our guests.  This is an indoor position and requires some standing.

    This role is responsible for reconciling and recording the daily revenue for all 4 parks as well as being a troubleshooter for our POS system.  We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has excellent cash handling skills. You must be well versed in working with Excel and other standard computer programs and have experience working with POS systems.  This position is ideally suited to a post secondary student or mature applicant who has a focus on accounting and bookkeeping skills. This is primarily an indoor, desk based position.


Sportsland Positions

  • Sportsland Supervisor – (0 Positions Remaining)

    We are looking for someone to work afternoon shifts to close Sportsland and our revenue control department. You will have exceptional customer service skills and are comfortable with cash register, POS machines, trouble shooting equipment and supervising front line staff. You are a hands on supervisor working along side staff.

  • Arcade & Concession Attendant 

    This position is responsible for front line customer service in a busy arcade. You are comfortable dealing with cash handling, POS systems and giving change in a fast-paced area. You serve snack foods and validate park tickets so attention to detail is important.  This is an indoor position and requires a lot of standing.

  • Go-Kart Attendant

    Responsible for the safe operation of the go-kart track. You are responsible for loading and unloading guests. This position requires a confident and mature person and requires that you work evenings.  This is an outdoor position and requires a lot of movement and walking.

Aerial Park Positions

The Muskoka Zip Lines and Aerial Park is part of the Santa’s Village family of parks and offers our guests boundary pushing thrills and excitement. Our zip-line and aerial park features 7 zip lines for close to 1000′ of heart pounding adventure and an Aerial Park with 34 games over 2 heights. We have a 70 and 40 foot jump tower for the extreme adventure enthusiast. We’re looking for that unique employee that shares that same sense of extreme adventure.

  • Lead Guide

    Lead Guides are the primary rescue personnel on site and are the registered Zip Line Mechanics In-Training.

    Lead Guides will receive training/orientation to the site-specific rescue procedures for the Zip Lines and Aerial Park.

    In addition, Lead Guides will receive the same training as the Assistant Guides and Guides to ensure they are comfortable with the operating procedures for the various Adventure Facilities. Lead Guides will be trained in the set-up and take down of the various facilities, ticket collection and client interaction, harnessing, operation of the QUICKjump Tower, operation of the Kid’s Aerial Park, and in general Emergency Procedures. Lead Guides will also be trained in the required operational procedures for the Aerial Park, Zip Line Tour, Jump Tower and the Big Zip Line which includes Pre-use Inspection Skills, Operational Procedures, Participant Belay Transfer Skills, Belay skills (friction device) and Participant Assistance Procedures.

    This is a very physical position, which requires an individual who is comfortable moving around at height in suspension, managing rope systems, moderately heavy lifting, climbing ladders and stairs, reaching, pulling and stretching and an ability to navigate all of the Adventure Facility activities at Muskoka Zip Line and Aerial Park.

  • Guide

    Guides play a significant role as front line staff in the day-to-day operation of the Adventure Facilities and will work in all of the areas of the Muskoka Zip Line and Aerial Park.

    This position sees the Guide as the main source of information and assistance to participants when they are at height. Guides will be trained in the setup and take down of the various facilities, ticket collection and client interaction, harnessing, operation of the QUICKjump Tower, operation of the Kid’s Aerial Park, and in general Emergency Procedures. Guides will also be trained in the required operational procedures for the Aerial Park, Zip Line Tour, Jump Tower and the Big Zip Line which includes Pre-use Inspection Skills, Operational Procedures, Participant Belay Transfer Skills, Belay skills (friction device) and Participant Assistance Procedures.

  • Assistant Guide

    While this position is primarily customer service oriented this is a very physical position, which requires moderately heavy lifting, climbing ladders and stairs, reaching and stretching and an ability to navigate the Adventure Facility activities.
