Camping Policies

Campsites

One family (2 adults and dependent unmarried children under the age of 21) per campsite.

Campsites are for the vacationing camper and not to be used as a permanent residence.

Campers must clear their sites of debris and clutter.

Water should be conserved at all times. No washing of cars.

No cutting or removal of trees or shrubs without management’s permission.

Please obtain the consent of Management before building fences, sheds, decks or other structures. All decks are to be constructed from new wood only. All decks must conform to building code standards. Decks cannot exceed the length of the trailer on site.

No home built Florida rooms, awnings or roofs permitted. Manufactured structures are to be purchased through management. Existing non-conforming structures cannot be altered or relocated. Such structures may only remain on the unit which they are currently attached. New manufactured structures may be up to 10’ wide or the width of the trailer whichever is greater.

Sheds up to 80 square feet are permitted. No home built sheds are permitted unless purchased in kit form. Sheds are to be used for storage purposes only. Check with management before purchasing or constructing a shed. One shed per campsite.

No outside refrigerators.

Air conditioners and outside lighting must be turned off when away from the campsite for an extended period.

No TV towers, masts or poles are to be erected on park property. Any grandfathered TV towers that are presently on sites must be removed before that person leaves the park. No satellite dishes to be attached to live trees.

Modifications to the landscape of a campsite ie; walls, fences, gardens, gravel or driveways, trees, shrubs etc. will become park property when camper leaves the park. No firearms or fireworks are permitted for campers or their guests.

Management assumes no responsibility for loss due to fire, theft or accidents.

Please be considerate of your cigarette butts.

Campfires

Campfires are allowed in existing fire pits only and must be attended to at all times.

All campfires must be extinguished before you leave or retire for the evening.

Do not move the fire pits.

Vehicles

The speed limit in the Park is 10 km.ph/6 mph. Please be careful of our children.

One vehicle per site.

No parking on roads, vacant or neighboring campsites or other areas not designated for parking without the owner’s permission.

No dirt bikes, smaller motorcycles, ATV’s, mini bikes, etc. permitted within the park boundaries. Touring motorcycles may be permitted from time to time.

No repairing of vehicles (unless emergency) permitted in the park.

No golf carts allowed without owners approval. Golf carts must obey the same rules as all other vehicles. Drivers must be licensed.

All vehicles/trailers including golf carts must be insured.

Taxis are not permitted in the park beyond the store parking lot.

Park brokerage services must be used for sales within the Park. Trailers older than 15 years cannot be sold on-site or brought seasonally into the campground. Exceptions may be provided at management’s discretion.

As per the License of Occupation, management cannot be responsible for property lost, stolen or damaged.

Children & Visitors

Limit per site of 8 people campers/visitors.

Single-family members 21 years and older, married children and spouses, grandchildren, parents, other relatives, and friends are considered visitors. All visitors must register upon entering the park. The visitor is required to pay visitor fees in accordance with the published rate. Unregistered guests will be charged at two times the daily visitor rate.

Each seasonal camper is responsible for his/her visitors and must acquaint them with the rules of the park.

All campers are responsible for the actions and safety of their children and visitors. Parents will be held responsible for any damage or vandalism caused by their children.

Young adults (under 21) are not permitted to use trailers or to be left in the park for prolonged absence day or night without parental supervision.

All children under the age of 19 must be with a parent or under parental supervision after 11 pm.

Visitors are required to leave by quiet time (11 pm) or register as an overnight guest before the store closes. There should be no more than 4 visitors per site at any one time unless prior arrangements have been made with management.

Visiting teenagers must be signed in by the adult whose site they are visiting.

We encourage and recommend appropriate safety protection for all sports.

Bicycles

No bicycle riding after dark unless the bike is properly lighted.

Parents are asked to teach their children the safety rules of bicycle riding.

All young people 16 years and younger must wear a bicycle helmet while riding a bike in the park.

Alcohol & Drugs

Provincial Law requires that personal alcoholic beverages be consumed on campsites only.

Illegal use of drugs of any type will result in the immediate termination of park use and or police intervention.

Garbage

Please place garbage in tied plastic bags in the dumpster at the bottom of the hill.

Disposal of large articles of garbage such as fridges, bicycles, B.B.Q’s, beds, etc. is your responsibility and expense. They are not to be left near the garbage bins. Please see management regarding oversized items and where to dispose of them

Pets

Pets are welcome as long as they are kept on a leash at all times, quiet and not left unattended.

Only two pets permitted for visiting guests.

Pets must be cleaned up after immediately, waste put in a securely tied plastic bag and deposited into the garbage container.

No pets allowed in the playground, pool, in any park buildings or on other campsites.

Excessive barking will not be tolerated. At park owners discretion any pet can be banned from the park.

Swimming & Playground

Users of the playground and pool do so at their own risk as these areas are unsupervised.

Children under 12 years of age MUST be accompanied and supervised at all times when near the pool and playground as these areas are unsupervised.

Posted rules in the pool area must be obeyed to ensure safety and enjoyment of all guests.

Pool hours are as posted 9 am – 6 pm for children and 9 am – 9 pm for adults.

No glass allowed at the playground or pool. No food except drinks allowed in the pool and all garbage must be cleaned up when you leave.

Excessive noise and/or splashing in the pool will not be tolerated.

Washrooms, Showers & Laundromat

Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult when in these areas.

Please advise your children that these buildings are not play areas.

Please show consideration for others who will use the facilities after you by leaving these areas neat and clean.

The use of private washer and dryers are not permitted.

Toilets & Drains

We have septic systems, NOT sewers. Special measures are necessary to ensure a functioning system. DO NOT dispose of condoms, sanitary napkins, tampons, diapers, J-clothes, paper towels, bleach, grease, paint, thinners, chemicals, wooden matches or similar non-dissolving solids in any toilet or drain.

House type toilets must be low flush water saver models. Only environmentally approved holding tank treatments are permitted (please help us save our tiles beds and environment).

Use single ply, white toilet tissue only.

All campers using sewer connections must fill their holding tanks before discharging waste and all waste tank valves must be closed until the tank is filled.

Seasonal Rates

These rates are for a full season. Should you desire or be asked to leave prior to the end of the season, the overnight camping rates for actual time used will apply. ($800 minimum).

If a seasonal invoice remains unpaid 30 days after the due date, the License of Occupation is canceled and use of the site will be billed at overnight camping rates from the due date until the time at which the trailer is removed.

Etiquette

Above all else be neighborly. Practice good camping manners by respecting the property and privacy of other individuals. Do not take shortcuts through campsites.

Any aggressive action toward another person or any violation of any federal, provincial or municipal laws by a camper or his/her guests will result in the immediate termination of the License of Occupation.

Foul language and swearing are strictly prohibited.

If music, campfire discussion or any other noise disturbs either your neighbors or the owner then it is too loud. The rights of all campers to enjoy peace and quiet are to be respected.

QUIET TIME is from 11 pm to 8 am. No exceptions! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to speak with someone in the office.
