A Brain Wave" - with RONNO!
Internationally
acclaimed children's recording artist/educator/workshop presenter
RONNO (a.k.a. Ron Hiller , B.A., B.Ed.) will be leading students
and teachers in a highly participatory, "brain-based"
Daily Physical Activity workout, featuring material from his
new, multi-award-winning "Catch A Brain Wave" Fitness
Fun CD & More
information.
 Students
will be actively engaged in this exciting, guided-movement
physical fitness/DPA workout set to fun, energetic music.
They'll be up and moving to "brain-based" fitness
songs providing a complete 20-minute workout - from warm-up
to cool-down (at the ideal tempo of 60 beats per minute).
Teachers
will learn fresh new ways to achieve their DPA requirements,
while strengthening learning through the use of a fitness
routine employing intentionally designed, sequential, "brain-based"
movements, including many shown by recent research (e.g.,
Brain Gym ®) to enhance learning by targeting specific
regions of the brain. Teachers will also receive an instructive
handout outlining a series of critically important developmental
movement patterns shown to help promote child development,
while stimulating "whole-brain" integration.
